Our services

Bridge The Digital Divide's recycling department Greenly makes it easy for businesses and organizations across different industries to do good by diverting their unwanted technology away from landfills – where 85% of e-waste ends up – and instead putting it into the hands of the people who need it most.

After you make a tax-deductible technology donation to Bridge The Digital Divide, we’ll come pick up your equipment, securely wipe your devices of all sensitive data, and then refurbish them before distributing them to people who lack access to technology.

By donating to Bridge The Digital Divide, you can join the list of hundreds of other organizations who used their unwanted technology to provide under-resourced communities with access to digital opportunities.

Our Data Destruction Process

To best protect our donors’ and recipients’ sensitive information,we provide complimentary data sanitization for every donated storage device using DoD and HIPAA-compliant NIST 800-88 software. At the end of every donation, your team will receive a certificate of data destruction along with your itemized donation receipt, examples of which can be viewed here. In the event not all data can be destroyed, we responsibly dispose of the physical assets through an R2-certified organization.

Sustainable Itad Solutions

Recycling is no longer a sufficient method for disposing waste sustainably; given the scale of the climate crisis, reuse is now a prerequisite for protecting the planet. We collect used technology from corporate partners across the country—empowering them to make a positive environmental and social impact by diverting their devices from landfills or recycling plants, and allowing them to be restored and distributed with people in-need.

Accepted Items

Every pound of e-waste that we can divert from landfills is a win for the environment. That’s why we accept a wide variety of items, from computer systems and accessories, to handheld devices, to audio and video supplies, to office and warehouse equipment, and more.
